The Panda's training montage is complete!

One month ago, the Panda left on an epic training montage. They went through many trials and tribulations on their pursuit of greatness, and...

Now they're back and stronger than ever!

We spent years slowly improving the Panda. But just a few months ago, we made a big breakthrough... And now that breakthrough has made it to RoyalUr! The Panda now plays the game perfectly!

The Panda has been a staple of our website for many years, and has always represented the strongest AI that we could make for players to play against. Some people have even complained that it's too good! The Panda got frustrating to lose against! Well, I'm sorry to the people that said that, because now the Panda has gotten even stronger!

But that's not all. We've also managed to fix some longstanding issues with the Panda as well. It now thinks better than ever before, faster than ever before, and it uses less battery-life on your phone than ever before! That's because we now run the AI for the Panda on our servers instead of your phones.

So, if you're interested in playing some challenging games, give the Panda a go! You may get lucky and win a couple of games, but the Panda will probably still get you in the end.

If you're interested in the story behind how we managed to get to this point, I'm also working on a longer blog post that I hope to release soon about that. That one will explain more about how the new Panda works, what it means for the game, and what we've learnt about the game using it.
